Lean Bronze Certification Review & Exam

This is a two-day event, Thursday, September 16 and Friday, September 17th. It is followed by the SME, AME, ASQ, Shingo Prize Bronze Level Lean Certification Exam the morning of Saturday, September 18th.

The Lean Certification Program, sponsored by AME, ASQ, SME, and Shingo Prize, is an opportunity to incorporate a solid foundation of training and validation of knowledge/experience for your Lean Journey. Lean Certification will standardize practices within organizations, regardless of size or industry. This program is a credential and was designed by industry for industry. It is a standard against which professional lean competencies are measured. The certification is targeted to companies on lean journeys, and to lean champions, practitioners and consultants charged with facilitating those lean transformations.

Lean Certification is awarded based on experience, education, and mentoring. This review course will explore what the certification is about, what the exam will encompass, and additional necessary steps to complete the Certification. The opportunity to share your experience with other Lean professionals is strongly encouraged during this review class. Individuals on a Lean Journey should consider this review class as the next step on their journey.

Thursday, September 16th: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Friday, September 17th: 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Lean Bronze Certification Exam
Saturday, September 18th
Exam time: 8:00 am to 1:00 pm

The exam is optional and an additional fee is required. To take take the exam, you must apply and register at: www.sme.org/leancert. Click on "apply" for the Bronze level. You must complete your certification application and confirm your exam date at least 3 weeks prior to September 18th to take the exam.

The registration below is for the Lean Bronze Certification Review Class in Rocky Hill, Connecticut ONLY.

Study materials for the course consist of the body of knowledge and recommended reading which are listed on the SME website. These materials must be purchased and read by attendees prior to attending the review course. Please bring these materials with you for use during the review course and the open book exam. Please also download "Decoding the DNA of the Toyota Production System" white paper.

Cancellation Policy - Enrollment fee less a $100 non-refundable registration charge will be refunded up to one week before the event. Substitutions may be made any time prior to the start of the workshop. This event may be cancelled by CONNSTEP for any reason. CONNSTEP is not responsible for incidental costs incurred by registrants. Purchasing refundable airline tickets is recommended.
